We are looking for a dental assistant whose primary focus is on general dentistry assisting and providing a “wow” patient experience. The ability to make great temporary crowns and be meticulous with patient and non-patient tasks is a requirement. Additional duties will include maintaining office equipment and supplies, making post-operative phone calls, asking for reviews and supporting other team members. Our use of technology greatly reduces the need for assistants to babysit our doctors at the dental chair.
Responsibilities May Include:

Take and document patient medical and dental history, then communicate findings to the doctor

Assist dentists by handling supplies and instruments as requested

Make great temporary crowns

Prepare operatory for dentists with necessary instruments and supplies

Clean and sterilize instruments

Provide a higher standard of care

Perform patient charting as instructed by the dentist

Hours: Monday-Thursday: 7:30 am - 5:00 pm | full-time 34- 40 hours per week
Qualifications:

Dental experience (1 year +)

Front office experience (1 year+)

Customer service (preferred)

Open Dental software experience (highly preferred)

Dental assisting experience (preferred)
